Context Reframing

Context reframing involves looking at the same problem in a different context.  For example, a cold winter day in Hawaii might be a warm summer day in Alaska.  I once had a friend who was in a seminar where they asked him to imagine that his accountant just called to say that there was exactly one million dollars in his bank account, what would his response be?  Then they asked him, “How would you imagine that Donald Trump would react if his accountant called him to say that he only had one million dollars left in his bank account?  The same circumstances can produce a very different reaction depending on your perspective.
