1. We Talk First (10-15 min) I learn about your specific sleep patterns – when you wake up, what thoughts race through your mind, what you have already tried. This is collaborative.

2. Guided Relaxation (5-10 min) You get comfortable (your couch or bed works great for virtual sessions). I guide you into a deeply relaxed state. You are aware of everything. You can open your eyes anytime.

3. Subconscious Work (20-30 min) While deeply relaxed, we work directly with the patterns keeping you awake. This is where the real change happens – at the source of your sleep issues.

4. Emergence and Recording (5-10 min) You return to full alertness feeling calm and refreshed. I give you a personalized recording to listen to at bedtime – this reinforces the work every night.

Common Questions About Sleep Hypnotherapy

Does hypnotherapy really work for sleep problems?
Yes. Multiple studies show hypnotherapy effectively improves sleep quality. The key difference is that hypnotherapy works directly with your subconscious mind – where sleep patterns are stored – rather than just masking symptoms with medication.
Will I fall asleep during the session?
Some clients do drift into light sleep during sessions, which is perfectly fine. However, therapeutic hypnosis is not the same as sleep – it is a deeply relaxed, focused state where your subconscious is open to positive suggestions. Either way, the session is effective.
How many sessions will I need to sleep better?
Most sleep clients see noticeable improvement within their first few sessions. Some notice changes after the very first session. During your free consultation, we will discuss your specific situation and create a realistic plan.
Do virtual sessions work as well as in-person for sleep issues?
