✓ WHAT THIS IS:
✓ Collaborative — you and I work toward a goal you set
✓ Focused attention, fully awake and in control the whole time
✓ More than one tool, matched to what you’re working on
✓ Real work at the root of the pattern, not just talk about it
✗ WHAT THIS ISN’T:
✗ Being “put under” or controlled
✗ A magic one-session fix
✗ Someone doing something to you while you sit passive
If logic and willpower alone were enough, you’d have changed already. You’ve probably tried — pushed through, talked yourself out of it, promised yourself this time would be different. And the old pattern has come back anyway.
That’s not a character flaw. Logic and willpower are a good start, but they just don’t address the whole problem. The reactions you’re trying to change — the craving that fires before you decide, the dread that shows up before you’ve said a word — don’t obey the rules of logic or conscious thought. They run underneath it, automatically. Both logic and willpower are useful, just not the only tools you need.
That’s the whole point of working with hypnosis. It’s how we reach the automatic reactions that willpower can’t — not by trying harder, but by working where your patterns actually live.
1. We Talk First
I learn about what’s been weighing on you, your triggers, and what you’ve already tried. This is collaborative — you guide the direction.
2. Settling In
You get comfortable (your couch works great for virtual sessions). I guide you into a calm, focused state of attention — not necessarily deep, just settled and present. You stay aware and in control the whole time.
3. Subconscious Work
In that focused state, we work directly with the patterns you want to change. This is where the real change happens — at the source.
4. Emergence and Integration
You return to full alertness. We discuss what came up, and I give you a recording to reinforce the work between sessions.
Total session time: about 50 minutes.
How to Keep Momentum Between Sessions
When it fits the work, I’ll give you a recording to reinforce the session, and simple techniques to use on your own between visits. Some sessions call for that; others — especially deeper release work — are best left to settle on their own. We’ll do what serves your progress, not a checklist.

“Best year in my marriage and business. I started going to his free seminars about a year ago… I went to a private session where he guides you through various ways of overcoming obstacles in how you think about problems. I went back and over time he got better and better at helping me. Since then I’ve had the best year in my business and marriage.”

“I came to Will with a pretty big problem: I loved cigarettes, but also wanted desperately to quit. I’d been a smoker for 15 years and had tried quitting over thirty times… Will’s approach was different from my other attempts — instead of feeling like I was forced to ‘give up’ smoking, I felt like I was able to get back into control.”

“Will has been extremely helpful in approaching my healing from a different perspective where so many other modalities have failed.”

I want to be straight with you about how I work.
My goal is simple: to help you reach the personal and professional goals that matter to you. You are the expert on your own life. I am the guide who helps you get where you already want to go.
I know what it is like to need a change and not be able to make it happen on your own. That is part of why I do this work. So when we work together, we work together — collaboratively, at the pace the change actually needs. I bring the tools and the experience. You bring the direction. And I am committed to the process with you, all the way through.
If that is the kind of work you are looking for, I would love to talk.
HYPNOSIS · OGDEN, UTAH
17+ Years · 20,000+ One-on-One Sessions · 3,000+ Individuals
I have spent over 17 years helping people create real change in their lives, with more than 20,000 one-on-one sessions and 3,000+ individuals across North and South America. But numbers do not tell the real story.
What matters is this: I understand what it feels like when nothing you’ve tried has made a lasting difference. Back in 2005, I was dealing with debilitating daily headaches that nothing seemed to help. That is when I discovered hypnosis — and it changed my life. That experience lit a fire in me to study hypnosis seriously and help others create meaningful personal change.
The backbone of what I do often weaves hypnosis into the session. And yet, the point is not to hypnotize you — the point is to help you reach your goals, using the right tool for YOU based on your unique response and the work at hand. Sometimes that means weaving several methods together. The main ones I draw from are hypnosis, mindfulness, NLP, and meridian tapping — more about these below. I am based in Ogden and work with clients virtually, anywhere you have an internet connection. Whether you are down the street in Salt Lake City or across the country, I can help.
