1. We Talk First I learn about what’s been weighing on you, your triggers, and what you have already tried. This is collaborative – you guide the direction.

2. Settling In You get comfortable (your couch works great for virtual sessions). I guide you into a calm, focused state of attention — not necessarily deep, just settled and present. You are aware of everything. You can open your eyes anytime.

3. Subconscious Work In that focused state, we work directly with the patterns you want to change. This is where the real change happens – at the source.

4. Emergence and Integration You return to full alertness feeling calm and refreshed. We discuss insights and I give you a recording to reinforce the work between sessions.

Meet Will

I have spent over 17 years helping people break free from anxiety, and I have completed more than 20,000 one-on-one sessions with 7,000+ clients across North and South America. But numbers do not tell the real story.

What matters is this: I understand what it feels like when traditional methods do not work. Back in 2005, I was dealing with debilitating daily headaches that nothing seemed to help. That is when I discovered hypnosis and it changed my life.

That experience lit a fire in me to study hypnosis seriously and help others create meaningful personal change. I practice four major modalities: hypnosis, mindfulness, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), and meridian tapping, giving you multiple tools for lasting transformation.

I am based in Ogden and work with clients virtually — anywhere you have an internet connection. Whether you’re down the street in Salt Lake City or across the country, I can help.

Common Questions About Hypnotherapy

Does hypnotherapy really work for anxious feelings?
Yes. Many clients notice they feel calmer and more in control after working with hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy focuses on the subconscious level, which is a different approach from strategies that focus on the conscious mind.
Will I lose control or do something embarrassing?
Absolutely not. This is the most common misconception from stage hypnosis shows. In therapeutic hypnotherapy, you remain completely aware and in control. You can open your eyes, speak, or stop at any time. Think of it as a deeply focused, relaxed state – like being absorbed in a great book. You will remember everything.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is different, and the number of sessions varies from person to person. During your 15-minute consultation, we will discuss your specific situation and create a realistic plan.
Do virtual sessions work as well as in-person?
Yes — I offer virtual sessions and many Utah clients prefer them. You can settle into your own comfortable space without the stress of commuting on I-15. All you need is a quiet room, stable internet connection, and headphones.
What if I cannot be hypnotized?
Almost everyone can be hypnotized to some degree – it is a natural state we all experience daily, like getting absorbed in a movie or driving on autopilot. The key factors are willingness and openness. If you are motivated to work on what’s weighing on you, hypnotherapy may be a good fit.
Can I continue my medication or therapy while doing hypnotherapy?
Absolutely. Hypnotherapy works well alongside medication and talk therapy – it is complementary, not a replacement.
