People tend to organize their time in one of two ways:

  1. Some people see their time as passing through their body.  Their future tends to be in front of them and their past seems to be behind them.  Their time line tends to run through their body.  This is how I naturally arrange my time.
  2. Some people see their time stretching out before them so they can see their past and future before them, usually in an up/down orientation or a left/right orientation.
